Hitting Mat
All golf simulators require a hitting mat of some sort. Birdie Box provides a high quality hitting turf that allows players to hit from anywhere on the mat - no hitting strip required! The turf pile is about 1-1/4” high and offers a realistic feel.
Birdie Box offers full-sized hitting mats. Rather than charging customers for a hitting strip and separate stance mat, we supply a surface that is both. No need to think about hitting strips anymore - just hit from anywhere!
Two sizes are available:
6.5’ x 8’ is a great size for simulators made for LH & RH players. At 6.5’ wide, there is plenty of room to spread your feet and swing from where you feel most comfortable.
5’ x 6.5’ is perfect for those who know only a LH or RH golfer will be using their simulator.
Add optional foam underlay for floors that have no spring, or for those who want extra cushion for their divots.
Add a rubber base to help prevent mat slipping. This can be especially useful in smooth concrete floor applications where friction is low.
